U.S. DOE has launched a new Smart Energy Analytics Campaign to promote the use of energy-saving building analytics platforms, also known as energy management information systems, in commercial buildings. DOE says that these platforms can achieve 10-20 percent energy savings in commercial buildings. The campaign is also intended to help building operators use analytics in order to achieve better building performance. Organizations that have already committed to participating in the campaign include Macy’s, UCSF, and the Rhode Island Office of Energy.
The Smart Energy Analytics Campaign is part of the US DOE’s Better Buildings Initiative.
